The consumption of nutrition for mothers and children does not only depend on the availability of nutritious food, but also on access to it. This is closely related to supporting factors such as awareness of parents and teachers, availability of healthy food in schools, community development, to strong cooperation between the government sector, industry, academia, and elements of society.

Good eating habits in children, of course, must be familiarized from an early age by parents at home and teachers at school. In addition, the increase in income received by the women who manage the canteen has also benefited 1,092 family members.

In Yogyakarta and Klaten, where the Sarihusada factory operates, Sarihusada also helps educate nutrition and technology through Taman Pintar, and strengthen local communities' economies with community-based empowerment programs. One of them is the Milk Quality Improvement program for dairy farmers in Sleman, where Sarihusada built an integrated facility covering an area of 1.7 hectares consisting of modern housing which can accommodate 240 dairy cows equipped with milking equipment, mini laboratory, cooling unit, biogas digester.
