Two SN Indonesia Danone Factory Yogya Wins Golden Awards from the World Safety Organization

Jakarta - The Sarihusada Yogya and Prambanan factories, which are part of the Danone Specialized Nutrition Indonesia (DSNI), successfully won the WSO Indonesia Safety Culture Award from the Indonesian branch of the World Safety Organization (World Safety Organization) for its achievements in implementing work safety culture.

The Sarihusada factory is one of the three companies that received the Gold Category Award for successfully achieving the highest score in carrying out the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) culture program and achieving the best OHS culture results.

"We are proud because of the 50 selected companies, only 3 companies including Sarihusada won the Gold category," said Delta Deritawan, Danone Manufacturing Director of SN Indonesia.

The Sarihusada Yogya and Prambanan factories are always pushing and implementing strict occupational safety protocols following the K3 culture protocol and basic safety standards, Delta added.

To maintain the quality of the implementation of the K3 protocol, SN Indonesia Danone factories are audited annually by a team from Danone Global as well as from independent auditors and the Government. "The Yogya factory also managed to record 4,109,418 hours without work accidents as at 30 June 2020," Delta added.

We will continue to maintain work safety standards so that we can continue to be role models in work safety. The Sarihusada Yogya factory has been operating since 1954 and currently has 261 employees. At present the Sarihusada Yogya and Prambanan factories are part of the four factories owned by Danone SN Indonesia.

World Safety Organization (WSO) is an international professional association in the field of work safety. The WSO was founded in 1975 in Manila, Republic of the Philippines as a result of a meeting of more than 1,000 safety professionals from all continents at the World Congress of Occupational Safety and Accidents.
